think i am going to get one of these after xmas,my iphone 4 is dying on me and i dont think she has much life left in her.I don't want to sign up for a big contract any more because i am only paying £12.50 a month for 1gb data 250 mins and 1000 texts.I am just hoping i will be able to buy one of these and just stick this sim straight into it.

As longs as its a micro sim can't see any reason why not...
Although I cut and filed my normal sim to a micro and it works fine haha.

Just had a call from Craig (assistant manager in the Watford store) who said that head office have authorised me to get a replacement, happy days. Only issue is that they are out of stock, they are looking at getting a handset moved from Harrow to Watford and they'll call me when it's in. Glad I got the right result in the end, just wish I wouldn't have to have escalated it to CEO office.

Yes. I had a GNex for a year. This is better in every way. Not so much that it's an essential purchase, but if you want something faster and nicer it's definitely a goer
It's a shame they put you through so much crap, but really glad to hear you're finally getting it sorted.
I reckon I know how their order system works. It's a fax machine with the very first orders at the bottom of the pile which they will never reach.

For the benefit of those trying to collect the data;
20:38 4/12/12 Order confirmation email received estimated ship 4-5 weeks (16GB).
00:32 6/12/12 Dispatch email.
Missed the delivery, rang TNT tracking number incorrect, went to depot to pick it up reference number on card incorrect. Staff at the depot had to dig for it via my postcode.
So problems seem to be,
Units getting shipped in random (not the order that people have ordered them in) order.
TNT tracking details borked.

Yep and Monday will be 1 week which leaves little time for Google to fulfill orders for the larger number of people that got 1-2 weeks estimate i.e. ordered before 5.10ish.
