***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Shame that it is running Sense UI and wont get the next version of Android until HTC decide to release.

That makes the Nexus 4 better, in my opinion anyway. Now shoo to the Butterfly thread! ;)
 
Does anyone else's TNT tracking number not work? Mine was shipped on the 5th, not yet turned up and tracking number shows as invalid. Hopefully it will come tomorrow :)

Yeah I'm close to ordering a case but I'm thinking the same. My current phone has been in a case since I got it, and while its in perfect condition now its a shame that I've never really seen it. Tempted to just keep this new one naked and hope for the best.
 
Well its 'cheap' to replace for what it is, way Im looking at it, I dont want to add much mor to the width of it as its pretty massive already IMO, maybe too big depending on how I do with it when it gets delivered.

Was thinking the official bumper but the guy who put up pics (thanks btw) comparing it size wise to S3 kinda shocked me in realising how big it really is. Think just a leather pouch will do for it and £50 ready for excess :p

Thinking to just put one of these best skins ever on it, the orange peal effect really worries me, but having a look at the XDA thread gave me some hope. It offers some protection against the glass getting scratched but if it drops from some height I guess it screwed whatever you do really.

Might also get a Mofi case too, they tend to be very soft and keep the screen clear. Also its good to keep out all the dust and pocket lint, never knew how bad things were till I got a white S2 (no homo it was for my kid brother but he kept going over is mintues).

So the "ships in 6-7 weeks" isn't exactly true? ie. I could order one today and get before xmas?... if I'm lucky?
 
It does look that way yes.

Someone on HUKD did a test, when their just passed 5pm order look like it would be 'delayed' and order another the next day. It arrived straight away.
 
Maybe I'll get it, and if it doesn't arrive before xmas I'll print off a picture of the phone as a cardboard cut out and gift wrap it to give to the missus on xmas day.

Think you clicked on the wrong video somehow, because that makes the nexus look like ****e, screenwise. I have to assume it was something to do with brightness or angle because through nearly the whole video the nexus screen looks washed out.
 
My order went through at 5:07:53 and was given a 1-2 weeks on the delivery time.

It does seem daft that orders at 8pm have been received :-(

I ordered with a debit card and did not request account linking.

Ho hum...

I'd say the Nexus looked better!... at about 8 minutes in when they are watching Monsters Vs Aliens, the Droid looked very washed out, and the Nexus looked vibrant!
