***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I can't comment on the Bugatti one, but I have a 'BLACK PULL TAB LEATHER POUCH CASE SKIN COVER + STYLUS FOR LG NEXUS 4 E960' from the bay for £1.99 delivered which I was pleasantly surprised by. Good fit, fast delivery, and it looks better than I expected it would. The Bugatti one does look nicer, mind, but is correspondingly pricier, so I'd recommend this cheaper one to anyone wanting a case to tide them over. I'm waiting for a Nillkin one from China, so this one will do me til then.

I currently have the Skin Cover, got from ebay for £1.99, TBH it's just OK nothing special but it's £1.99 so can't complain, Just ordered this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130807926...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 , Never been a fan of pouches, always had clip on hard back cases, as this one ships from HK it will be a while till I get it though.

This phone is so stunning and feels great to hold...I'm not sure I can bring myself to cover it up. I suppose I could get a pouch, never had a pouch before.

Not sure it would really help though, surely out of the times it's likely to drop out of your hand etc it'll be out of the pouch anyway?

Yeah, that's exactly the same one I've ordered too, hence the reason I've got the £2 cover to tide me over til that one arrives, which could be a while. Nothing special, agreed, but for £2 delivered it's worth going for til the Nillkin arrives.

I received my nilkin case earlier this week and the quality is fantastic! Clips on to the phone really well and the build quality is superb for the money!

I got mine. Coming from a Galaxy Nexus (and also a N7) it utterly flys, especially compared to the old dog that is the GN :)

Build quality is lovely, feels very nice in the hand and a good weight. I love how the front glass curves around the edges. The display does lack the colours of the GN, but still a nice display.

Already got AOKP on there and running sweet. Lack of OTG is a little disappointing, but the N7 works fine and that's what I'd mostly use it on.

I get some fairly good speeds from Three too, I got 7.5mbit download and 2.3 up last night at about 10:30pm. I checked my old scores and the previous best was about 3mbit (not that I ran it that often) also managed 50mbit through the wifi.

Bonus was my GN dock fits fine, well after a small modification to the rubber adaptor.

So what fun and interesting things have people setup on their new phones to date?

I've just setup my media server with Servio Media streamer and then added the BubbleUpNP server and then the client to my phone. I added MxPlayer pro and downloaded the custom FFMPEG build which supports DTS and now I can stream my entire media library to the phone over 3G or wireless.

It's awesome..

Now I'm looking for some new ideas!

Likewise, the whole 'premium look and feel' is why i want one over a sgs3, no way i am going to put a case on it and cover that cool back up lol. As you say a pouch is pointless anyway it offers no protection. N even a hard case if you drop the phone is not gonna stop glass cracking so why make your phone look like ass.

Yep, I got an email with a receipt from Google.

Me too.

Although I ordered it at 5:07 - getting well miffed at all the received ones ordered well after me.

HTC Butterfly looks lovely - getting very tempted to cancel. Especially with all the stories of the fragile back glass. Butterfly will cost a lot more, but looks like a lovely phone.

Same here to be honest... but the specs of the Butterfly do make me think that the price may be just under double the price of the N4!

The more I use this phone the more I like it. Got a One X personally and the screen is slightly better on the One X but still a good screen on the N4. Installed PA and it's plain awesome. Running the tablet UI for extra real screen estate and using PA colours its a perfect combination. Phone feels fast and smooth compared to my One X. Although I would miss Sense if I left HTC I think I would get adjusted to stock android after a week or so.

Me too, that extra screen space on the Butterfly is a tempter, but for probably another £200 extra.

Keep watching this vid to help me decide.
