***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

It's nice to see, over 12 hours later, that the US and German stores still have stock. Hopefully the UK store won't sell out in 30 minutes!

Does the Nexus 4 take the same size SIM card as the iPhone 4?

Looking to get the Nexus 4 today "if" it comes in stock. So will want to transfer my SIM card from the iPhone to the Nexus

Thanks

In theory the human eye shouldn't be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p screens at these sizes.

Whether that's accurate in real world use or not I have no idea, having never seen a 1080p phone :(

I only have a finite amount of money to spend on a new phone and the N4 nicely fits into that budget, with a spec I'd have never thought I could afford!...

All these 1080p phone are going to be waaaaay out of my range!.

I'm sticking it out...

F5... F5... F5... F5... F5... :D

Supposedly it is very noticeable according to all review sites and the majority of users (who have the dna) especially for small text, say that there is no need to zoom in at all as the small text is very comfortable/easy to read.

Can't wait to see a phone that has a 1080p screen for myself.

I've developed an issue with my phone.

Whenever i make a phone call, the screen blacks out, making it impossible for me to end the call or see any info on the screen.

It's not because I'm holding it to my ear, i just can't press any of the touch screen buttons.

I furiously mash the power button and the screen lights up ever so briefly, but even then i'm not quick enough to end the call.

I've done a full reset and erase, and it still happens.

Any solutions?

EDIT:

It was the proximity sensor!

I removed the screen protector and it works fine now.

Lost all my photos though :(
