Currently weighing up to see if any shops will be selling it on the release date for the same price as that would save the inconvenience of post/exchange should any problems arise.

I'm personally going to opt for Virgin's sim only deal at £12 p/m 1200mins, unlimited text and 1gb internet.

No one will sell it at the same price, IIRC LG is forcing everyone to sell it at much higher prices.
 
Regarding audio, to hard to tell at the minute as we need to wait for the proper final software (plays a big part) and we need to wait for gsmarena's audio test to see how it stacks up against the other phones.

But so far it doesn't sound amazing, doesn't seem to be as good as the one S and GS 3 audio.

However, the optimus G is very good (falls just a bit behind the S, GS 3) so the nexus 4 with more up to date software should be as good if not better considering it is the same hardware but with better software (hopefully!)

Where abouts is the audio referenced out of interest?

Guess I missed the reviews with detailed audio comparisons.

I haven't read any complaints in the reviews of the audio yet they all seemed to say the loudspeaker was average but the in ear stuff sounded good.

All the review sites have talked about it, however, no sites (AFAIK) do a proper test like gsmarena, which is what I am waiting for.

Yup that is what I am talking about, the loudspeaker being poor/average.

Well they were asking specifically about the in-ear capabilities which I have heard very little about other then "It sounds good as expected".

I was just interested to read some more substantial tests which is what I thought you were referencing! :)

Loudspeaker matters little to me, however it says average in most reviews which I expect is fine for most people.
 
One guy was but Janesy B didn't specify which one he was talking about.

Yup will have to wait for gsmarena's test to find out just how good it is :)


Personally I use loudspeaker more often than earphones and not to have music blasting whilst on the bus etc.! :p

I watch a lot of youtube videos, some TV episodes/TV catchup, play a few games etc. at night time whilst lying in bed and just play a few games, youtube videos when sitting on the couch downstairs. Don't listen to much music on my phone (obviously if I am out and about, I would use earphones :p)
