This looks like a bargain phone for the money, a quick search on Google is showing prices from £289.95 although this is for the 16GB version

Whether the screen is better is subjective. Having an sd slot is an advantage if you need it (I dont). Just the extra bezel and size of the s5 is off putting. The pros and cons would be negligible if the s5 wasn't almost double the price. For £320 the g2 is about as close to perfect as you can get, imo
Where can you buy it for £320? My note screen has been destroyed and I'm tempted to get one as a stop gap whilst it gets repaired!
I assume this is a better phone than the nexus 5 for battery and camera?
I am guessing that is getting delivered from Hong Kong? They might not make it obvious initially. No problem if it is, use a credit card or PayPal and cover yourself. It's a massive bargain at that price.
I traded my nexus 5 for a G2 because of the better battery and camera. I have been delighted with both aspects. Amazon UK had them for 320 last time I checked.

Simply Electronics, they also have the 32GB version for £307.95 although after a quick search on Google they have had a few dodgy reviews, shame as I though I'd found a bargain![]()
I've been disappointed with battery on the N5 and i'm looking at a G2, is this the 32gb version? Does this also have a sd card slot?
I can't remember exactly so don't take my word for this but I think the imports coming from korea/hong kong have an SD card slot and a removable battery. However, the battery capacity is reduced by 10/15%.
How's KK running stoosh - much improved smoothness?
It's running smooth but not as fast or fluid as the Nexus 5.
The annoying micro stutters when going in and out of apps have disappeared and Chrome is easier to use.
However the SQ when playing music has degraded a tad and is one of the issues that LG need to address in their next update.
Overall I'm impressed but it still isn't up to the N5 standard however battery life on this device is a godsend.
How's your Note III running with KitKat?
Was going to get the device but will wait for the Note IV instead.
