This game is sooooooooooooo good, nothing less that what I would expect from Bioware. I'm just spending hours chatting to people- I haven't even left the Citadel yet.

I had my LE copy on preorder for ages so was very unhappy when it didnt turn up yesterday. I had GH3 to keep me occupied so it wasnt too bad, until I find out my gf took it from the doormat yesterday, opened it and put it somehwere I would never guess it would be... so when I found it this morning, I was not best please.
Hello good morning people lols. I have work in an hour with the lovely Saturday shoppers in a wooly high street store. I had no sleep because of this bleddin game. Damn, all I want to do is play it.
Playing through as the default John Sheppard, seemed cool enough and wanted to play at least once through as the guy on the box cover
Only problem I have with it is some of the Mako missions where you are drving about are quite annoying and not very fun, other that that it's excellent.

Yeah I pretty much agree with you on the graphics score. It in no way hinders my enjoyment of the game but there hardly amazing more functional, they get the job done.
So far a brilliant game, I was a little bit disappointed with with character creation screen. Theres hardly any hair styles.. I want a long haired emo dammit! lol

One tip for people just starting - save it really often, the games auto save placements are shocking and there's been a few times I've had to redo a segment that I spent like 30 minutes on because I got my *** handed to me in about 0.001 seconds after entering combat.
Might be spoiler-ish, so I'll hide the text. There is a spoiler thread though, link is in the main post of this thread. Highlight to see:
It works via your team. When you look at their stats when selecting a team to go out with from the group, the ones that have decryption skills and electronics skills will be the tech people. It doesn't count on your skills, because the main has no biotic skill or tech skills, it's purely from the other members in your team. If you go to the Squad window, you can check their points in the "Decryption" and "Electronics" skills... if it's saying it's too low then you need to invest in those more when you level to open it.
Mine did that too sort of. Loaded up, was standing right next to the map so I viewed it then when I came out of it I was stuck in the railing
