Max Payne 2 was barely 8 hours if memory serves, and MP1 wasn't a great deal longer. Still a little disappointing if true, but not all that surprising.

Sounds about right, I don't expect over 10 hours from games anymore unless they're heavily RPG based. I blame new consoles and lazy game developers and corporations.

Or it could be increasing levels of art quality in terms of 3d/texture/animations all take exponentially longer as we keep pushing the boundaries.

Should be ready by about 3-4pm. Current estimate from Rockstar is that it will be ready early morning in US time zones.

According to this post Steam is only used for Achievements on Steam bought copies all other features are handled by Rockstar Social Club so you may want to buy @ retail as this is not a Steamworks title!

My CE copy is here, comes in a huge box, the bullet key ring has some nice weight to it and the game itself comes on 4 DVD's! its going to take a while to install lol.

Must be 4 Dual Layer DVD's as well!

Tempted by this but the install size is gonna dent my 256gb SSD space. Never played the others either.
