*** The Official Microsoft Surface Thread ***

Starts at $899 in the US of A, thats £588 at todays rates..

Yet on the MS UK site its £749 which is actually $1,145....

sigh...

But we have VAT included which means 588 + vat = £705.
In US their taxes work very differently their sales tax ranges from 0% to 9.9% (I think) so that £588 isnt what many people will pay.

I think the budget for my trip to the USA next year has just increased!

This, I'm in NYC over new year, and presuming its not 3 foot deep snow I'll be taking a trip out...

Someone needs to compare the Pro 4 to the tablet part of the Surface Book though and see how they go side by side..

Also, I want them to bring out a Book type keyboard with GPU and battery etc for the 4 Pro...

Why does the Surface 3 on Windows 10 still default to handwriting with pen touch in a text box.

There is seemingly no way to change it to keyboard, and there's forum topics everywhere about the issue.

Lol Microsoft, ruining my tablets.

Can anyone recommend me somewhere to get a Surface Pro 2 charger? They're out of stock on the MS website and I haven't seen any 'legitimate' looking websites offering proper official products either. Already on the second charger as they seem really naff as it is. MS don't want to know at all.

I don't think they have been made for a while. I tried to get one with my John Lewis warranty but they ended up giving me money to buy a 3rd part one which broke very quickly.

It's disgusting actually that they have stopped making them. I now have a one year old surface that it is almost useless as the charger will only work if it is in the correct position.
