I've said about a Windows RT Phone since like WP8 
If they'd released Windows RT like Android (So in phones and tablets, the same OS in many different phones/tablets and price points) it'd have been successful, don't know why they've had Windows RT and WP8/8.1. It needs merging.

Well the rumour is that it will get merged in next major update. seeing as MS paper work has WP-RT referenced. So even if its a surface phone, it won't be one os yet.
Sounds like laptop rumour is true.

They sound like they should be in October 2012 announcing and launching the Surface 1 (But one that doesn't suck)
Sounds like a reinvention.
Surely this is what the Surface 2 with Type Pad is doing already? It's fixing that whole laptop/tablet conflict.
