*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

It's been about two years since I sold my switch 1. What are the best games that released during the last two years I should check out? I've got Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom on my list, but anything else I should try?
If its Nintendo exclusives then Mario Wonder and Mario Party Jamboree are v.both good, and both upto 4 player local.

Didn't realise that any webcam would work, plugged my Logitech C905 in and it working fine, can't see I'll ever actually use it though!
Someone got an iPhone to work with the Switch 2 as a webcam as well.

8BitDo have added NS2 support to a number of their existing controllers (no it does not add wake for your NS2)

https://support.8bitdo.com/firmware-updater.html

This tool covers almost all of their controllers so download and plug one in. If it recognises it then any update will be labelled as NS2 compatible before you click the upgrade button. I just did it for my Ultimate Bluetooth (Gen1) controller and it paired up and is working with my NS2.

Tips
  • if your controller has a dock then that will have an update as well
  • my controller would only update when connected directly via cable instead of sitting on the dock which was wired in

Probably not the weirdest question you might ask yourself when it comes to the NS2...

What happens if you connect a charger to BOTH usb-c ports?

Click this spoiler below to TLDW...
Bottom port takes priority regardless if it was plugged in first or last. The top port is ignored when the bottom port is connected. It does not speed up charging having both ports plugged in.

I've got a couple of questions.
1) Has anyone played BOTW without the upgrade, and if so, how is it?
2) Can I play against Randoms on Mario Kart World Tour, or do I need to have a friends list?

Only played BOTW for an hour or so but it is great so far. Getting the upgrade for free when you have Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass is great.

Seem to be some good offers on Switch digital games here:

Haven't used it myself yet though.

Which controller would you recommend for NS2? Ultimate 2C Bluetooth?

I was actually going to grab the Ultimate 2C until this firmware update arrived. It's pretty cheap for what it offers and so if you don't have any other controller than can work on the NS2 fully (apart from wake) then I would get it.
