I just started playing TOTK and thought, this looks really good.
Until I realised I didnt yet install the S2 patch
Now Im blown away!
Is there a similar patch that needs to be installed for MK8? Its not overly clear which games need a "S2" edition download vs a normal update.

I thought this same thing when i was unboxing it.How did Nintendo mess up the boxing of these though, who's idea was it to put the actual unit at the top of the box with zero protection![]()

here’s the thing, I’ve not seen anyone say they got a DOA device due to shipping damage. How did Nintendo mess up the boxing of these though, who's idea was it to put the actual unit at the top of the box with zero protection![]()
I think you're right, but the Switch 2 has DLSS ... so there is an outside chance GTA6 could get a port at a much later date. Think it's unlikely though - and I won't be buying it.Never say never, however the fact that GTA 6 won't be on the PS4/PS4 Pro makes me suspect it won't be on the Switch 2 either
The OLED revisions of the OG Switch had the same issue - tablet part was close to the top of the packaging. How did Nintendo mess up the boxing of these though, who's idea was it to put the actual unit at the top of the box with zero protection![]()
It's honestly amazing at some of the ports that they managed to even get running on that Switch 1, and the 2 is a lot faster. Now that it has pretty modern hardware, getting it running should be doable, just depends on how much they would want to dial back the quality and resolution.I think you're right, but the Switch 2 has DLSS ... so there is an outside chance GTA6 could get a port at a much later date. True, unlikely it'll fit on a single 64 GB catridge. But that wouldn't deter 2K from releasing it on a game key card. Or maybe they could release it on it's own 256 GB "branded" microSD Express card ? Let's face it ... some people will play GTA6 as a "forever" game ( as they do wth GTA5 online ). They wouldn't care much about having minimal storage capacity for other games.Part of the issue with GTA6 will be storage size.
I’m expecting it to be a 200+gb game. Even COD is 100g’s these days which is ridiculous for such a game.
What ?? Is this Amazon ?Parcel being prepped for delivery. About damn time. My hype is almost gone I might just send it back sod it.
Very. They’re usually good with delivery. What ?? Is this Amazon ?
They're really late with this one. That sucks mate ... enjoy it when it arrives. It's a good upgrade on the OG Switch, even if the launch titles are a little bit lacking at the moment.Very. They’re usually good with delivery.
Yeah, it was the CP2077 port and DLSS that made me think about it. I do realise it’s a big ask though.I think you're right, but the Switch 2 has DLSS ... so there is an outside chance GTA6 could get a port at a much later date. Think it's unlikely though - and I won't be buying it.
