Exactly as expected, video drop pretty much out of the blue with no real detail beyond some visuals and a date for more information

I wonder if I'll be able to hack it, install steamOS and emulate all the nintendo games on it? Would that be a weird bunch of hoops to go through?

Even that's not new news. Nintendo confirmed backwards compatibility a few months ago.

Yeah they just said you could play Switch software on Switch 2 a while back. I suppose knowing that it's both digital and physical is new news. I retract my statement and offer an apology

I wonder how the screen will look compared to OLED. I'll still have my OLED but if I feel it's a decent change, I'll probably get NS2 and pass the OLED to my daughter, who currently only has LCD screen.

The fact they're running 'Experience Events' through to what looks like June, would suggest we won't be getting our hands on retail units until at least summer realistically I think, possibly launching in time for school summer holiday period if we're lucky?

Yeah feel like it could easily be July before we get it which is a little disappointing

Looked like they used the joycons as a mouse. Maybe thats what the optical sensor is.

No chance that was on the cards given each joycon has to double up as a mini independent controller, you'll only see d-pads on dedicated full controllers like the Pro
