It'll be interesting to see the use cases for what still appear to be very much like optical mouse sensors on the joycons, given the way they show the joycons moving around on a surface akin to a mouse - maybe aiming to have 'mouse like' controls available for certain games?

I’d like to think I will wait on an OLED model but of course I won’t. I have invested heavily in digital Switch games so pretty pleased until I see the inevitable incompatibility list. Day one for me. Will pre-order as soon as I can.

I mean, I like the idea of a handheld, but if it's just Mario games and naff all else, yeah this is a hard sell especially if it's £400.

There are plenty of other handhelds in that case. Steam deck would be my choice but it's showing its age now. A refresh would be most welcome.

There are quite a few from other manufacturers as well.
