Yup, I know. That's been in place for a while now. However, that's just what I had read.

Another ironic thing is, that a lot of droid fans "hate" the WP design but like the HTC blink feed. I am not saying all do, but again it's just irony.
 
I'm still 100% convinced Apple are stuck with boring old icons as they need to keep all the old store apps working with iOS7.

A mixture of live tiles and icons would look like an absolute mess.
 
I don't think they can change much, their style is entrenched throughout the entire ecosystem all the way through iTunes.
 
They are going to have to adapt, the longer they leave it, the bigger issue they will have. Just like screen size, lead socket etc.
windows is a great example of what not adapting does, they no longer market leaders and the back lash to a modern interface is large.
At some point you have to suck eggs and make the transition, short term pain, for long term game. The later apple leave it the worse it'll be for them.
 
ooooooooooo, what can it be, would be stunned of its a huge pureview leap, but looking at the end shot, does look like a refined version of the leaked prototype we have seen.

Didn't MSFT say that they would be bringing a notification centre to WP at a later date? They just ran out of time. Although MSFT take forever to do anything...
 
Looking forward to tomorrow. Might even contemplate a contract for the first time in years if the price makes sense.
And yes Microsoft said they will be adding notification.
Blue is for wp8 as well, I expect it to be out no later than October and I think it will add a lot of stuff.
 
WHAAAaaa, no Zenon flash? I guess they're saving that one for the EOS. (When are Nokia going the announce that? September/October time?)

So, the catwalk is just a thin and light 920? Shame about the ugly camera tit, HTC finally dropped stupid design feature with the One :p

Thats good to know. What I don't mind about the WP8 OS is that its still very much in baby format, if you look at iOS and Android they are very mature OS's - they certainly didn't get things right first time, thats for sure!

I'm just a little spoiled :p

Oh, can anyone confirm the latest WP8 Release please? want to check my phone is running it since I got it back.

For everyone else yes, so if that's a general update release, could be possible this will come "shipped" say a couple of weeks after the announcement?


Seems plausible, reports did say Nokia was working with it already.
