You don't have to pay.
Probably just worth waiting now. You only get the wp update, not the Nokia update.

I prefer 8.1 over 8, just needs the camera sorting really, the odd lock up I can deal with as its about once every 6 weeks or so, the camera tho I use more often than that..

I was wondering the same thing till I smashed the screen on phone. Off to insurance it has gone, hope Cyan is here when I get it back.

I'm looking at plans for my renewal in a few months and trying to see accurately what I use minutes/text wise.

Do we think that means 1437 hours, 22 minutes and 32 seconds?

Wow, that's even shocked me - That can't be right, that averages out at almost 5000 minutes a month!

A thought - would this be incoming, outgoing and voicemails?

Well if I look at it as minutes instead of hours it works out at roughly 90mins a month.

Which seems FAR more like me.

I think it is since the phones birth! I've re-flashed mine at least twice in the last month from 8.1 to 8.0 and mine is still showing way more than since then, if it can survive the Nokia Software Recovery Tool it must be able to survive a reset, where would it be stored though?
