I had to do the same with my 930. The dev preview would have been at the same OS level as this latest update but with older firmware.
I had to turn off Dev Preview before it would appear
I had to turn off Dev Preview before it would appear as an update, I'll stick preview back on again once its done, its "Almost done..." at the minute.
I would have thought though that the Dev Preview would have given me something before now if an official was here?
Well Denim quietly crept up on my today, installed and didnt see much difference, till i noticed the Cortana icon
So it is possible to put android on it?
Everything seems so over convoluted though and requires so much effort to learn. Why not just have a setting that enables the transparent tiles and then have an option to set a background. Instead i have to spend 30 mins messing about trying to get the start menu screen thing to look less annoying.
Looks a lot better.
To save power, your screen goes on standby when you’re not using your phone actively. With Glance screen, you can easily check the time even when your screen times out.
Glance is not supported by all phones. For availability, go to www.microsoft.com.
On the start screen, swipe down from the top of the screen, and tap ALL SETTINGS > Glance screen.
Switch Glance screen to always on.
Tip: It's easy to wake up your phone even when the power key is not easily accessible, for example, while your phone is cradled in a car holder. Simply double-tap the screen.
I find IE to be a decent mobile browser so I've not has to try any 3rd party browsers. I have seen people mention UC Browser, but I can't testify if it's any good.
Im desperately hoping the ditch moving the address bar to the top in WP10, in fact WP10 is looking awful to me.
