I don't think the 1520 ever made it for sale on EE!!!

I'm hoping MS have run down the production of Nokia branded phones and will come up with something spangly on the 21st, although it's more than likely going to be next winter.

Intrigued as to what's going on, EE literally had no Windows Phones!

Certainly feels like they are waiting till w10 for top end models :(. Bad choice. Should continue to pump models out, not stall yet again.

I'm craving a new WP to replace my venerable 920, but considering the options I'll have to make do with buying a new case.

I got my mother in law a 730 to replace her 800 and she's over the moon with it. It's a very nice phone. I just want something a bit...more... :D

I'm in the same position a you guys, been out of contract since October. I'm pondering trying to find a second hand 1520 to tide me over until a new flagship is released. The screen has started to flicker intermittently a bit on my L920 :(

Sadly this is a classic example of how to lose market share, we all excitedly jumped on the 920 bandwagon, 2 years later when most people contracts are up, we're all sat here wondering what to do with the upgrades. Some will hold on, some will jump ship to Android or the iPhone. :(

Well if new link is true, then no high end phones till w10 :(. Yet again pretty mediocre specs. 805 has been out for a while. 1080p screen is average these days.

940 spec sheet leaked.

Windows Phone 10

• 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor

• Adreno 420 graphics

• 3GB RAM

• 32-, 64- or 128GB storage

• 5in full-HD (1920x1080) screen with Gorilla Glass 4

• WLAN, NFC, USB 3.0

• 24Mp PureView camera with LED flash, 4K video recording at 60fps

• 5Mp front camera, 1080p video

• 137x71x8.9mm

• 149g

They better finally give us an updated 1020 when w10 comes out, that's what I really want.

Thing for me is though, I dont want a bigger screen, 4-4.7 is fine for me, rather 4 than larger as by the time I've stuck a casemate or otterbox on it, it becomes too big.
Then theres the camera, I dont want something that sticks out of the back of the phone, flush or nothing for me.
I'd also quite like it if my phone didnt take ages to fire up the camera app as well, wlel annoying...

Sadly Trig ol'boy I think you're out of luck, but I also agree a high end *compact* phone would be nice.

At 137mm it's only 7mm taller than the 920.

I hope something's going on, because I've read that Lumias have been pulled from sale in the States and Australia, I remember the backlash MS got for selling WP7 phones just before announcing WP8. Maybe something is just around the corner?

The top half is the fixed settings list that never changes order. The second half is the apps that add extra settings, but the order of these is dependant upon the update order of a particular app (when it is updated it then moves to the bottom of the list).

It's not a particularly nice system, but as Glaucus says they are planning on re-working the ordering.
