Is there any way of removing the '3' logo on the splash screen?. I downloaded a software update from them and it's on the note now.

Beautiful phone BTW.

Agree with the above but I don't have any niggles about the software. I love the thing and it's the best phone I've had.

Things that benefit root are things like knowing what wakelocks is potentially keeping your phone awake/draining battery

Continued from the last post of mine, if anyone likes a bit of sketching, here's the last version of my piccie at full res.

It's ridiculous how much detail you can go to drawing on this device!!!
Oh and that's using Sketchbook. It's got a few useful tools, obviously not as extensive as a full PC app, but great for bedtime doodling!

Had mine delivered yesterday, very nice!
Looks like Nova Launcher is causing some battery drain which not everyone is having, anybody here had to avoid Nova? That would be a shame although I'm sure it would be fixed shortly.

Using Nova and getting around 5 and a half hours screen time. Don't think it's causing an issue for me.

Yeah, I've never heard of it until I checked around on some forums. Trying Apex for a short while and running BBS to see if anything weird is hitting the battery. Even with the slight drain the thing is lasting better than the Nexus 5 on a good day

I'm using Nova and I'm getting a great amount of battery life. Sometimes it can last me two whole days. I use other battery optimisation apps also.

If you are feeling creative Autodesk sketchbook, my drawing skills leave much to be desired but even i am impressed with what can be achieved with this powerful little app, for a perfect example check out Plunk13' post further up the page.

As for a calendar widget, check out the S Planner widget there are 4 options to choose from, one of them is a 4x4 full page month calender, the other is a 4x3 month calender with a transparent background (I use this one).

I am have very high usage on the exchange services process with this phone.
Is this a known bug on this software version? My note 2 doesn't have any such issues.
