**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

It came with a UK plug no adaptive fast charger though
Sigh, so its pretty much a lottery when buying if they don't mention it. Saw several good deals on amazon for the note 4, but does not say if it comes with an adaptive charger. Looking at the handtec ones, anyone bought from their store what are your experiences?

I got mine from Handtech other day, 2nd April it was delivered asked for next day delivery all came great and the F model I ordered came with the fast adaptive charger too. Read up what I said in previous posts in last few days ;). They were great at Handtec great communication and everything came new and without seals broken on the packaging.

That's odd. I've got the 910C with the Exynos chip. I called Samsung UK to check the warranty and they 100% confirmed it was a full 2 year warranty with Samsung. I also gave them my serial number for them to look up.

It didn't come with the adaptive fast charger however, just the standard black charger in the box.

Samsung told me otherwise when I called them before I ordered the phone, they said it's not covered in the UK the C model (Exynos), didn't bother me anyways I was after the F Snapdragon model and just wanted to make sure the F was the right one. I just asked while I was calling them about a replacement compatible 3D glasses for my Series 7 Gamer Laptop.

But .... I have a feeling I was talking to a newbie working there and just reading off a screen and he even stated the only 3D glasses that would work with the laptop are one model only.... Which I am finding out now is not true, seems he wanted me to spend £100-£150 for the glasses that I can get for £25-35 that will work with it fine...and a newer 2013 model..

Told you ;), makes the M8 and M9 look silly once you have it in your hands and really play with it without all the shops anti-theft tethers attached to it and they never have the S-Pen on the display unit too .

The screen is just lush and I found some great apps to get most out of it, will post some apps that I think we all should have for the Note 4. So you new owners like myself get the most out of it.

By the way did you end up getting it from Handtec too as I did ?

I got mine from Three on contract.

Just been looking at apps ect, wouldn't mind being able to make the text/font size smaller ect..

awesome phone!

Right, what's the easiest way to downgrade to KitKat without tampering with the phone or rooting?

LP started off well but I'm now losing 50% battery with barely any usage. Plus the notifications are annoying me.

Can't help you yet, but I'll be doing the same once I get home as I'm away from home ATM. I like lollipop but there's just too many quirks that presently annoy and the battery life for me isn't there.

It's utter rubbish. The last few days I've been at work at the Insomnia gaming event with work so I'm literally looking at my phone for 5-10 mins every couple of hours when I've got time to myself, and I'm still finding myself with 45-60% battery remaining by the end of the day. The screen on time can't be more than 45mins throughout the day so I've no idea what LP is doing.

I'm going to look into it tomorrow and will share any tips or info I can find. Shame, it started off really well when I got the update but it's seemingly getting worse.

I do, but mines unlocked so I don't suppose that really counts :p

I can't say I've found any real difference between KK and LP for battery myself. We have 2 note 4's here, one still on KK and one running LP and both seems to drain around the same rate. On my LP one on normal usage over a day with some long idle and some heavy usage when in use and high (pretty much maximum) screen brightness I get around 5-6 hours screen on. If you use it constantly and at much lower brightness I've seen it on track for >10hours screen on.

What's your thoughts on the camera guys? I'm coming from a Z2, which I feel takes pretty good ones.
Camera is truly excellent in outdoor usage, rather poor when used for night/dark shots as the aggressive sharpening algorithm destroys the quality of images I find.
