**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

Is there any news when we can expect MM to roll out on three network?
Lollipop took forever and it looks MM is going the same way.

At this rate N will be released!

:p:p:p:p:(:(:(

I doubt we will see MM for unlocked Note 4s until April/May and some time after that for the networks. Samsung have only recently started releasing it for the S6/Note 5 whilst others have had it out for at least some of their phones for months now. No chance Samsung will release N on the Note 4 - though XDA can rectify that hopefully.

Android Marshmallow now downloading on unlocked note 4 F. Check for updates guys. Just was randomly checking and seems to be out.

They pushed a security update + battery life improvements for 5.1.1.

MM is supposedly in qualification for atleast another 2 weeks I believe.

Yes I got all excited when I checked for updates and thought it was MM and turned out to be 5.1.1 ....

Some sites are saying MM is already out for the Note 4 and has been for a while now in some regions so really confused what Samsung is doing, they should have just pushed MM instead of 5.1.1 ...

I'm on a open Austria note 4 F.. so as we see it was 5.1.1 that got pushed today .. from that list.

Ah didn't realise you'd only just got 5.1.1 - there was an update for 5.1.1 (not sure why it isn't a new number version) pushed recently for N910F with security updates and supposedly big battery improvements though mine seemed like it was running down faster :s

Have Samsung said Note 4 will be getting MM?

It is officially supposed to - apparently it is in final qualification testing at the moment before release.

I installed this update a couple of days ago, i'm fairly positive that my battery life has got a fair bit worse.

That has been my impression as well sadly :( where it used to show ~58h as projected life it is now showing 30h :S

I got that update today too - I noticed the Android Security version has appeared in the About menu. Didn't spot that previously.

Battery life seems about the same for me, I can save a bit by turning Bluetooth off so it's not connected to my Android watch but seems counter-productive.

Installed the update last Friday evening, by midday Saturday it had drained 60% battery life  Factory reset it, battery life has improved since, but still worse than prior to installing the update
