Anyone got a solution for negative notification number of emails?
On my lock screen, the email icon shows -4 emails outstanding.....which is annoying....when there are no emails. Actually, if there is 1 email in the app, then it shows -3 and so on.
Googling solutions, suggests clearing cache/data of the Badge Provider apk, and/or disabling, rebooting and so on.......which I have tried and sometimes it clears it for a while, but other times not and always it ends up back as -4!!!!
The only other option I have is to completely remove all data etc. from Email app, but I have 8 accounts set up in it and am reluctant to type them all in again.....

Anyone got any experience/suggestions?

I will go and give one a thorough test tomorrow and then decide.

I can't see myself with an S5 or Z2, nor whatever HTC decide to drum up.

It's good, on 5GHz Wireless-N, I don't have an ac standard router yet but on this it manages to keep up decently with my internet line (120Mbit).

I'm very happy with my phone, and after watching samsungs dribble tonight -

A) I'm pleased with the note 3
B) I won't be buying the S5.

Just go and buy the phone..... for my sake if nothing else ;)

PS Kona / Nexus / Whoever else I've bugged about phones - I still want to change handset...... need something new ;)
 
Still can't decide whether to get one :( After seeing the pitiful S5 release I have moved closer to it... Asda seem to be the safest bet at the moment? Although they appear to be out of stock currently :mad: Hesitant to buy off ebay :rolleyes:

That's annoyingthey were in stock when I checked last night and was going to order one at lunch today :(
 
Amazon have it for £440 it was £400 before the s5 reveal so that indicates Amazon's view of the relative values of the 2 phones before and after the show.

Only sold by topT, not by amazon themselves. I'd rather buy from amazon/asda as you know it will be a genuine UK version
