****The Official Note III Thread****

It seems that the Note 3 is the phone of the moment, went out on Friday night and 4 colleagues were all rocking the phone.

A while back people wouldn't even dream of using a phablet.
 
it depends on your use I suppose

if I was young enough to be out on a Friday/Saturday night drinking etc - I think I would have chosen a smaller phone - but for my current usage - its near perfect :)

I think a 5.4 would be ideal :)

Dad's Note3 felt just as fast as my Nexus 5, at times it wasn't as smooth but Samsung has a lot of crap on at default. I'm going to wait till the 4.4 update and I will install Nova and give him a bit more of a cleaner look.

BTW any word on the Note3 getting the same version of touchwiz as the S5.
 
Also picked one up. Did a bit of trading and got it for £200.
Really like it, the texture on the back is great. the spen seems cheap and flimsy compared to the note 2 though!

I've been solely IOS for 4 years - so Android is taking a bit of getting used to. I still like IOS - but found the screens on the Iphones just too small

Yeah note3 is not as snappy as a nexus5. But it's minimal. Quite enjoying the spilit view.

Ah yes, that too, I turned of all the S-Motion crap.
 
No need for root - I'll post some screenshots of the things I've disabled later today as the Mrs has the phone.

Also my animations are a tad quicker than stock to give that zippier feel.

The Amazon US price was cheaper at £71~ but hey ho, £85 is the cheapest it will be for us for a long while yet considering the price of 64GB Ultra cards i think.
