****The Official Note III Thread****

The only issue I've had on KitKat (since I finally did the OTA update last night - I'm on Vodafone, by the way) is that when I didn't look at a text straight away it kept repeating notification until I did. It's probably a setting I need to update, so not really a problem :D

Does anyone elses Note vibrate at 10pm every day, no notifications at all.... I'm running X Note.

I think the Compact Z1 did similar as it was turning on night mode, but I can't see any night mode settings on my Note.

You kept the note 3 then Andy! Still pleased with it?

What is the best website for comparing contracts for this phone? ~ 600mins and 1GB data allowance.

I am currently on Three and have been very happy with the coverage and data speeds so I am reluctant to change; however a quick search showed that there are cheaper deals on other mobile carriers which presents a dilemma, especially considering the phased roll-out of 4G.

I currently have a HTC One X and my contract expires at the beginning of next month. The Note III appeals due to extra screen size and technical specification. Are there any other phones that can compete?

Im looking at this I think.

Will have to see mine was unplugged just over 5 hours and it lost 10% which seems high.
23 mins screen on time and down to 83% seems something is up, I am using nexus 5 launcher, the phone is only a few days old but any ideas would be appreciated.

Well I got the Note 3 back today, but it seems the damage was worse than I imagined. The LCD screen itself has been damaged too and there are black marks on there which they couldn't repair. It was annoying me right off and was about to go to CEX to get rid but a family member said they could live with it. So I'm now back with the S4 and will probably wait to see what the S5 is like in person and then decide if I'll get one or just hold out until Note 4.

:o

The phone was delivered this morning and also successfully tracked on quidco for £40 making the deal even more of a bargain.

Really impressed with the phone so far and am looking forward to playing around and getting to know the feature s a bit more.

The phone is a lot faster since the Kit Kat update but \I have had a few random reboots and slow downs as well and the Wi-Fi is rubbish again now

The phone was brand new with the box sealed in three places.

I think it's a sim free handset as there is no network startup logo and I was prompted for what I think is the latest android update 4.4.2?
