Tamesek Kernel, what changes have you noticed? I've just installed it in hope that the reboots stop during satnav usage as that seems to be a reported bug with CM11 using stock kernel.
 
Its all stable here with the Tamesek Kernel and SatNav using Copilot.

The kernel allows me to use the phone asca remote, works with the case so screen turns on/off when I open the case. Overclocks and allows some tweaking.
 
Ah cool. I notice in the Performance page in CM the 300MHz lowest now sticks as opposed to being stuck at 1.7GHz. What governor are you using? Tamesek's version of CM11 uses Intellidemand whereas CM11 stock uses InteractiveX.

I expect to see an increase in battery life now I guess!

Note 3 certainly has loads of life with CM11 and Android L through it and I think it could even live beyond Note 4's release if the Note 4 is just a small bump like the S5 is to the S4 as I won't bother with it if that's the case.
 
It's good but it's not as good as oem ROMs that use apt-x and will likely never be as good as them on any aosp ROM.
 
The battery life on my note 3 has gone from being brilliant when I bought it in September to appalling now. When I look at my battery stats almost 50% is sometimes being used by 'android system' and 'android OS' how can I fix this? I have rooted my android devices in the past and installed cyanogen mod etc but I quite like the setup I have now with buzz launcher.

I use BetterBatteryStats to see exactly what is going on..

Temasek kernel doesn't work with the 1st July Cyan Nightly :( just get a black screen after the boot logo.

Stock kernel it is for a while then!
 
Did you update the kernel to the latest version? Im going to try it shortly. not updated today yet.

EDIT: you're only right you know. What gives there then?? Off to investigate. I know there where several N9005 optimisations due but not sure why this would happen. :(

I can log in so the digitiser certainly work, just no display.
