****The Official Note III Thread****

Hey guys, currently lurking between a Note 3 or Lumia 930 as my next phone.

Anyone know of any good Note 3 deals going?

What has always put me off about android is the gui but just discovered launchers and icons and the new android l looks the business.
 
I also own the Lumia 925 and have the 1020 for work purposes. Really there's no contest. Android just wins in all areas at present stage. The UI in KitKat is excellent and you have found launchers so you'll be fine :p
 
Brand new? I think someone mentioned a while back it was a bit cheaper although I may have been seeing that about another handset :S
 
I can't seem to find anything on google, does the note 3 allow wireless charging somehow?

scrap that, I was on news rather than search :p


It seems you have to get the s-view cover? I just want a normal back cover !

There are wireless charging kits on eBay that use the standard cover, the receiver is a small pad that sits over the battery, it's so slim it will fit with any back.
 
You can buy an official Samsung wireless charging back cover - Samsung EP-CN900IBEGWW - Galaxy Note 3 Black Wireless charger cover just under £20
 
wow - thought my battery life was pretty good - but took some tips off XDA forum, and turned off today google now, and location services when not used, dropped screen from 5 mins time-out to 30 seconds, and enabled screen power- saving - all looked just as good

and after 15 hours 31 minutes- I've still 13% left

very nice,and 2 hours of that earlier was streaming video via 3G, spotify stuff, internet browsing, email on constant checking etc

very good battery life really
 
iPhone 5. Been with iPhones since the 3G. Love this so far the size is just perfect. Got Nova Launcher and the Moonshine icon pack. Also downloaded the L keyboard from Amazon app store.

On that note can anyone recommend a keyboard? Touchwiz is ok and not sure about this L keyboard. I think I remember hearing something like 'Swift' keyboard was good?

Also after some recommendations for wall papers?
