****The Official Note III Thread****

Been putting it off for ages but finally the other day I gave
Temasek Rom a go. It's absolutely wonderful. If you're in to
Your Cyanogen and 4.4.4. Roms then this is perfect for you.
Sooooooooooo many customisations it's untrue.

i tried it an really liked it, only thing was is for me stock android uses more battery compared to stock Samsung

looking forward to lolipop though!

i have aquestion.

i've had my note 3 for several mths now and really like it, but since the last update it's gone really crap, randomly switching itself off and battery life is bad now, i used to last a full day, now about 8 hours with normal everyday stuff on like b/tooth etc.

is anyone elses acting up?

Just installed ZIONs cmRemix of CM12. Its pretty solid. Everything is working (except NFC) and it flies. Haven't had any slow ups at all. Only issue is the battery life isn't the greatest, but its so nice to have vanilla Lollipop :D

Loving Crash Rom v19 at the moment for Note 3

amplify and greenify on, Data connection and Wifi always on, google/gmail sync on, drop box sync on, samsung account sync on Anker 3200mah (stock size) battery and Lux app installed

The battery on my note 3 has been awful for a couple of months. Android system and Android OS use about 35% between them with less than 10% screen time I'm getting about 20 hours.
Any ideas?

I've just cleared my cache so will try that first.

If not I will buy another battery. Is 3200mah the most anyone can fit in the normal body?

So, now that a Lollipop rom has come to the N3, who will be trying it out?

I'll be installing it as soon as I get back to uni, as my internet at home will take years to download the rom.

Some users have reported awful battery life due to the N4 weather widget, but others have said it's fine. Can't wait to have multiwindow functionality back. I adore CM, it is blisteringly fast, but not having that one TW feature really bugs me.

So, anyone flashed it yet?

I've seen extension batteries with like 10000mah so I assume it is only a size constraint. I think I saw a 3500mah battery a while back, although I have no idea where.

I'll be waiting for the official release. Android police's writeup on android 5 for the note 3 really makes it sound like it'll give the phone a fresh breath of life so good news for us resisting the upgrade bug!

I switched to the N3 (buying it outright so the N4 was a bit too much money for too little improvement imo) just in the past couple of weeks from an iPhone 5s and so far so good. Now just to find good apps on the play store for it... suggestions?

Hasn't really left its box yet, waiting for proper case + tempered glass protector. :D

Good to see Lollipop will be coming to it though!

Crash Rom V19 and Lean Kernel 3.7

greenify on, amplify on, Gmail on. Sync on. Dropbox sync on, lux app for screen brightness

What's app running. Mix of activities, stock size Anker battery

Reception is poor in my area as well. I may get better if I lived in better service location

you need you try it!
