****The Official Note III Thread****

Phone performs rapid.

The back design is really a massive improvement over the old glossy plastic. Looks much more premium, especially on the tablet.

Shame the tablet has the fugly nav buttons, and 16GB option. I'm waiting for the iPad 5 and Nexus 10.

What is the reasoning for different specs re CPU and 4k by market?
Shame about the speakers too.
Couple of colleagues have the HTC One at work and it puts pretty much every other phone to shame for sound output.
Amazed other manufacturers have not caught on to this one.

The snapdragon 800 is needed for 4k and 4g lte. The Oct core samsung is 3g only and will be cheaper for Samsung to produce I guess, so it makes sense to ship that to 3g only markets.

OK, that suggests then that the UK version won't be 4G ready?
Apologies if this has been answered. i got a bit lost in this thread.

wow just ran the antutu on my nexus 3 - it scores REALLY badly! 9933:eek:
I'm fairly tempted to go for a n2 as that if benchmarks are anything to go by will be a massive performance improvement, although maybe I'd go payg

benchmarks are utterly useless when it comes to real world usage, just epeen numbers :p i.e. GS 4 when it first came out was the highest scoring device but in real world usage was super laggy.

Nexus 4 is still one of the fastest and smoothest devices out there, the only device that I would say is ever so slightly quicker etc. is the HTC one, although with 4.3 now it probably just edges the htc one (haven't used a nexus 4 running 4.3 yet)

We will get the LTE version, why would we get anything else? UK LTE has just started becoming properly interesting.

No mention of speaker quality ?
What's the deal with thinner ?, take the back out to flush with the camera and fill the thing with battery :D
