****The Official Note III Thread****

It has a USB3 port!!

Finally, a maker has listened to the cries for USB3 :D The CRiLED flash also looks really good.

They didn't talk about it, I think it's their habit not to talk about specs that differ in various regions in some cases but 32 or 64GB is in the spec list. Good to see no 16GB.

Was internal storage mentioned?

Exynos 5420 1.9 GHz or Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz (LTE) SoC's
5.7" Super AMOLED Full HD Display - 1080 x 1920
3GB RAM
13MP with UHD recording - 1080p @ 60 fps, with 2MP Front Camera
Android 4.3
3200mAh instead of 3100mAh battery
Weighs 168g
Ultra High Quality Audio (192KHz, 24 bit) support
8.3mm instead of 9.4mm thickness
32 or 64GB internal storage with microSD slot

Same here. It's exactly what I was hoping for. A design close to the S4 which I'm a big fan of in a slimmer than Note II case. The back being soft and textured is a big bonus.

What some are also forgetting is that it's less likely to slip off tabletops and out of the hand because of it too.

This is a decent update to the Note 2, wonder what they have instore for the NOTE 4 as they have rammed an endless list of features already.

the stylus would work.

it works on CM ROMs for the other notes

With all the same functionality you get with the stock rom?

Will the uk version get 4k recording?

Unfortunately the 4K video capturing will be available only to the Snapdragon 800-powered Galaxy Note 3. On a positive note, the S800 Note 3 will be most common device on the market anyways, so it's likely that model will be in your area. If you live in a developing LTE market, then the S800 model will likely be the only one selling in your region, because the Exynos 5 Octa version doesn't have built-in LTE support. Bummer!

For me it's only the 1080p screen and software that it has over the N2 so I can hold out for the N4.

That suites me just fine though as it would wind me up waiting for it to be rooted and for Wanamlite to be ported (has a lot of extra features I use such as holding volume up/down to skip music tracks, battery percentage instead of a useless indicator, all apps work in multi window etc).
