What is the available RAM you guys are getting?

Also i have a 120mb internet connection but only get 20mb or so on the note 3. My sister gets at least 70mb or her xperia z
 
yeah everything is the same, are the Sony phones better with connectivity or something

Does anyone know where you can get the S view case right now?
 
A whole day (as in 24 hours) with around 4 hours screen on time. That's with auto brightness so it will ramp up outdoors as I use it outside a lot at work.

Is yours connecting to the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz band? the 5GHz band will allow for much faster rates. Mine connects at 150Mbit on Wireless-N (Netgear WNDR3700) but the Note 3 supports Wireless ac standard so can connect at +433Mbps to your router (verified by XDA users who have ac routers).
 
I am going to try it with 5Ghz now see what comes up.

Also what's the available RAM your getting from 3GB?
 
Usable available RAM will be ~2.4GB - A porttion of that 3GB is system reserved for various stuff. I guess it's similar to onboard GFX cards on some mobos whereby some RAM is reserved and used as video RAM.
 
yeah still should be enough lol.

DO you know anywhere the S view flip case is available or doesn't any retailer have them as yet
 
Tried Mobilefun? I've not even looked at cases for this :p

Wow Nandroid backups take minutes now as opposed to the 20 odd on the Note 2 and the file size was 4.1GB. That internal write speed is crazy.

Just got my Note 3 from Three.

£34 p/m - 500 minutes, 5000 texts, unlimited data.

I managed to get them to dismiss the upfront handset cost of £99 so that was great. Just going to go about setting it up now.

Any pointers guys? How are you finding your phones so far?
