****The Official Note III Thread****

I'm keeping my eye out for a good deal at the moment. The best deals that suit me seem to come out at around £750.00 to £770.00 total cost for 24 months.

However, I have just come across this which may be of some interest if you don't use too many minutes. It also comes with a 'booster' that allows unlimited texts or calls to landlines or calls to t-mobile mobiles. I'll just have to weigh up whether I can cope with only 100 mins even if it could allow 'unlimited landline calls'...

T-Mobile:
Minutes -100
Texts - 500
Data - 1gb
£ upfront - £319.99
£ / month - £21
Term - 24 months
TopCashback - £126.00 (deal lasts for only a few days)
Total Cost - £697.99
Avg Monthly - £29.08

I went for this: http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/aw2/sea...3&term=18&rowqty=10&sortkey=10&order=1&page=1

18 * 36 = 648
70 cost price of phone
100 quidco

618 total hopefully (:

600 minutes/1gb data on orange

Unfortunately seem to have a fair bit of play on my home button.. need to decide this evening whether its too much or not!

I just tried at 3 in store see if they would/could waive the £99 - wasn't happening :(:D
Then that is a small town shop, maybe in a bigger shop with more clout you'd pull it off?

My friend wax upgrading so maybe that made a difference? He said he had to put up a bit of a fight, first of all said they couldn't do it so he walked off. They called him back and said they could waive the £99 if he went on the one plan for £38 and he still said he only wanted to pay £34 a month and she went and asked the manager and he waived it if that was the only way they were going to get a contract sale out of him!

The SIM tray is a bit fiddly it's a bit tricky removing the SIM it does not click in like it does on the S3.

Anyone else had this issue.

Yes it's a slide in slide out for the sim card and sd card this time round!

A small piece of Bluetack will easily get the sim out though.

It's poor oversight especially since previous phones had the spring mechanism. I guess in the grand scheme of things it adds extra cost and uses a bit more space for the mechanism to be housed given how often people will be removing the sim and sdcard.

It's not a bad design.

you take the sim and so card out once in a blue moon. This its not an issue.

get over it

Hmm... I find this difficult to say without calling you names for your stupidity :(

Not everyone has the exact same usage requirements as you. Just because an issue doesn't affect you, it doesn't mean there isn't an issue.

On the flipside - how is it possibly an issue? its a VERY minor inconvenience at worst. Oh no it just took me an extra 5 seconds to remove my sim - quickly - to the internet to complain!

Well put. A few on here seem to have caught this illness :D
