I have a slightly older Anker 10000 mah battery pack and It's been faultless so far, I use it a lot more often than I imagined I would.
 
Gonna definitely go for an Anker external battery, they make top quality batteries at very reasonable prices.

Won't be rooting my Note 3 as I intend to use Sky Go on it a lot, as well as some other apps which won't work on rooted devices. Will look at possibly picking up a Moga gamepad.

I've got this one, awesome bit of kit, I use it to charge all the phones/kids stuff when we go away from weekends etc..

Most of the time it's just say in a drawer though!!

I will say it works really well, and the intelligent led ring is cool..
 
On my third note 3 now...sigh, still has gaps but they are are a lot less than then previous 2, so i accpeted it as a replacement, plus P4U staff were different people today and they were being all awkward about it and kicking up a little fuss that ive lost them 4 phones, as they opened 4 and let me pick which one, at the end of the day my money and i want to be happy with it - With that said with gaps im hoping a case will cover that part of the screen, im happy to hear peoples views on which case would do a good job of hiding most of the silver bevel around the screen.
Im just going to try and ignore the gaps from now on as it does seem even though there shouldnt be any most if not all have them to some degree, pot luck if you get a good one though.

Time to go actually play with it finally and set it up to my liking.
 
You really have had some bad luck, good to hear you got a decent phone you can use now.

It might just be a problem with phones that P4U are getting.

A few people have told me including the guys at 3 that their phones and some of Carphone warehouse phones no not be entirely new or something along those lines ,maybe they are test units or something but It's not on I would never accept anything like this.

I don't know if it's true but the issues you have had makes me think twice.
 
I did notice that all 3 have never had that clear protector stuff on the camera lense, not sure if its supposed to or not, but you could be right...i mean im still not 100% happy by any stretch but out of the 5 ive seen its better.

Just not sure how many more times they will allow me to exchange the phone now, i should have gone to somewhere else in the first place, hindsight is a curse.
 
Mine was from p4u and never had that clear protector sticker on the camera lens. Sounds like a batch thing to me.
 
Mine was from three and it did as well . got little stickers on the side of the phone as well on the silver bit all around
 
Oh yea its got all the others on it, even has one on top with qualcom or something written on it, its a bit blurry so cant quite make it out.

Anyone puchased a car dock yet? Not sure what works best?

iBolt seems to be popular? http://www.ibolt.co/ibxs-33604 £30 seems a bit steep as other docks are available - but this seems to be the only one that can activate the dock mode?

Speaking of which - does anyone else know how to activate this dock mode? On my old note (jellybean) I could go to clock and on the tabs at the home there would be the dock mode.

Is it something to do with the actual USB plug itself? As my Philips Fedelio dock doesnt activate it either and its no longer in the clock app?
 
Ive not long had my note 3 and love the thing:D Androids come on a long way since my first G1.

Whats everyones browser of choice? and are there any calendar apps that are better than the included app?

some goodies arrived today



the diztronic is pretty good, had all cutouts ad feels quite slim, not bad for £10 delivered from US

the s view copy from Amazon (£5 delivered) is garbage, the pic and description says the s view feature should work but doesn't, so its going back

the Glass-M i have just put on and feels really good, such a huge package for a small protector, it came with alcohol swab, de-dust sticky film and protector it self, cost me just under £12 on ebay (uk seller, 2 day delivery)

the glass feels just like the gorilla glass so quite impressed. best of all it fits perfect with the diztronic

not used the others yet.

have a Spigen Neo Hybrid on order so will see how it compares to the diztronic
