****The Official Note III Thread****

Mine is working brilliantly without any problems at all. First phone I have not flashed a Rom or rooted in ages MI7 Build number and I weirdly have no desire to mess with it.

Phones4U hehe ive just got the runts of the batch it would seem, im hoping the next batch they get in will be alright, only got to wait till friday.
Also it does appear the whites have slightly less issues with the gaps from my research, and theres only a few with gaps that have posted online from my findings, so its either me being anal about it or some are perfect (device) and others not.
As for pictures i cant, dont have a standalone camera and my girlfriend has a crappy blackberry curve thing, its worse than a potato wont focus.

With all my woes im still loving the device itself, just a shame i cant really set it up to my liking as there is no point yet :(

Edit - also i have to say P4U have handled it very well indeed, first and second time i went in, no questions, no fuss, 2 phone calls to their CS and Tech team which they handle and i was out within 30 mins.

Got my note 3 today and wow!

Lighter, thinner and faster then my note 2, screen is also very nice

Now to buy a case and screen protector :)
 
Well bluetooth and screen on battery usage is very very very good. Unplugged the phone just over 2 hours ago and been driving up to another site for work so been playing music to the car for just over an hour and here's the battery usage for those time periods:

I've actually started using Samsung keyboard as well, once you've used it a day the prediction appears to be spot on and the active number row above the letters saves time as well. I like it yet I never used to on the S3 or Note II.
 
I require some travel accessories for my Note 3:

(1) An external battery of some sort or possibly a spare or two? Have Anker made batteries for the Note 3 yet?

(2) A gamepad to turn the phone into a portable games console. I know that Moga make gamepads, are they any good? Am I better off buying a cheap pad off ebay and if so, does anyone have one that works well with android phones? It must be something that actually holds the phone.

1 - Get an external pack from Tecknet, you can charge them via USB and charge 2 devices.

2 - PS3 pad + gameklip. It's a bit awkward having a bulky note 3 hanging off the top though.
 
I have the Patriot 9000mAh Fuel battery that can charge 2 devices and has a 2.5amp output. It will charge the Note 3 at least twice over so maybe worth looking at that?

I still need to put up the review of it actually, been inundated with other work, this has skipped my mind completely.
 
Didn't even know about the Anker one above really. 3amp output as well. Probably go for that instead. The Patriot didn't cost anything so no loss or gain on my part
