Caffeine is a good app which I've had no issues with using for keeping the screen on

Just:
1. Go to settings->general->about device
2. Tap the build number 5 times or so until it enables developer mode
3. back out to the 'general options' and you now have developer options
4. Go into developer options and select 'stay awake - Screen will never sleep while charging'
 
Lol mrk - why didn't the screen go off?

Ah they fixed the KB - good stuff.

I'll be rooting my Note after I've had it a little while, making sure the phone works as it should. Lots+lots of features to test haha.
 
Screen didn't go off because I left it playing a movie over the web! Battery is now at 61% with exactly 7 hours screen on time. Impressive.
 
So you're the one rustling in the bushes outside my window.

e: I think reception is stronger on MJ7 with the MJ7 modem. At this time I'm getting 24.21Mbits on 3G, usually this kind of time is busy and I get around 15 from previous tests.

In 2014 yeah, London starts in December this year and I visit there often so will be able to take advantage of it.

I've now gotten to the point that the Note 3 feels like a normal sized phone, and everything else I look at I wonder how people can use such a small screen. Anyone else with me?

Me too! Though the Mrs keeps mentioning it's not others are small, note is huge! Cue argument for 5 mins!

I'm with you on that too. A workmate handed me his iPhone 4 the other day and felt like I was holding a peanut with a screen!. Just didn't feel right anymore 0_0
 
No case still, no scratches front or back...yet :D

Unlike all other Galaxy phones, there's no chance of this slipping with that grippy battery cover :) That and the raised bezel to protect the screen a bit.
 
Any idea on when we will get an official car dock? The only thing putting be off the Xbolt(?) is that it is using the older/slower USB connection for charging.
 
Ive picked up some small scratches on the screen :( not quite sure how as I'm yet to drop t o drop it and it always gets put in my pocket with nothing else.
 
Gorilla glass screens don't get scratched from keys, knives and impacts generally, it will be bits of grit in your pocket that scratch the screen.
