****The Official Note III Thread****

You could get a dash disk and mount the holder on that? I have it like that for if I ever use it on a holder.

I've never used a dash disc before... would certainly be less prone to the temperature of a windscreen changing I guess.

What make would you recommend mrk if any or are they all much of a muchness?

Also, what holder do you use with your N3?
Did you get a case on yours yet??

Thanks for the link mrk... i'll grab one of those based on your recommendation :)

Just trying to find a decent mount now the whole windscreen issue is sorted... not seen the Luxa one you mentioned before.

Like you, not putting mine in a case either..... just too tactile and aesthetically pleasing to be put in any case. :D

Simply outstanding, 1 Day 6 hours currently and still have 32% left, screen been on 3h 34m 13s in that total time, spotify streaming for 4 hours 12mins, you get the picture.

Anywhere near that of the lg g2?

I really need to have a play properly with one of these but I think its going to feel massive... and massive may get broken at work!

[delete the company] are doing it for £460 I think that's where he got it from but had a promo code

I'd remove the name from your post mate, they are a direct if not possibly ocuk's most direct competitor. This company also don't do discount codes.

I believe the Luxa is import only as mine was sent directly from the maker from Korea!

What's the current situation on the Note 3, eFUSEs and custom ROMs?

There are a couple of Knox safe root methods out and have been for a while so custom ROM installs are not a problem to stay warranty safe.

Hmm just had a look and the root methods are Knox free if you use the Knox free versions.

So then that means recovery and root are Knox independent?

Root, custom recovery (cwm etc) and custom roms are all different things as you know.

So far, only certain root methods are KNOX free.

There's no way to install a custom recovery without tripping KNOX so far.

£443 gamble to see if something is just too damn big or £339 and wait for google to get their production up to speed! Such a hard decision!
