Well I've done the deed, mine too is coming from a Bolton phone shop and fingers crossed it'll be here on Christmas Eve.

I was going for the phones.co.uk review that kona786 recommended but they were really really messing about with checks and aren't in to speak to this weekend - the last weekend before Christmas! That will be being cancelled on Monday!

I've gone for the Three One plan for 12 months at £15 a month which has absolutely everything I need...it works out at about £2ish more a month but, meh, it's sorted now!

So....cases!

Who's got a case? Is it a genuine Samsumg one, where did you get it from and how much did you pay?

Amazon has them but everyone is saying they are fakes so I'm steering clear of that!

I was with three and they wanted £45 per month for the full whack deal and no up front, or £38 per month with £99 up front :eek:

still have 2-3 months remaining with them, so just bought the phone offline, will cancel the contract when it's at end and get their (full whack) £15 per month sim only deal, with cash back it should work out a lot better.

£45 x 24 = £1080 + get a Galaxy Tab 3 (free)
£38 x 24 + £99 one off = £1011 (no free tab)

offline - ~£375 + (£15 x 12) £180 (12 months) / (£15 x 24) £360 (24 months)



over 24 months = £1000+ v £735*

*possibly less with cashback

:eek::eek::eek: £400 saving...


treated myself to a Sony Smart Watch 2, the Galaxy gear is a bit too expensive :p

I didn't realise they had a phone site, I just see on their main site it's £500.


I'm looking up on storage options, thinking of a class 10 64GB, there seems to be some talk about whether it supports SDXC or not and whether they will run at full speed with show up as full amount.

I think I'm tired tonight as I can't seem to get an answer to the SDXC question that quickly....I think I need to go and eat!


Any thoughts on cases chaps?

it definitely works with a SDXC card, the one I'm selling in the MM ;)

64GB isn't enough for me any more, need a 128GB, my music has grown somewhat!
