Note 2. So roughly the same size anyway, previous to that it was the Samsung Galaxy S2. That was a bigger upgrade but after a couple of week gawping at how big the phone is, the Note 2/3 seems normal to me and the size of the iPhone 4s/5 seems like a Tonka Toy now. I almost can't fathom how anyone could surf the internet on one of those things

Going from a GS2 to a Note 3 will be a massive step, you're going to cream yourself

I currently have the official Samsung view one, it's a stop gap until I get this, the official Samsung case is annoying because it doesn't close properly :/

@ Mike - I have a sleeve when it's in my pocket. It's my 2nd phone btw. My main work phone gets a bit more abuse. The screen has yet to scratch though on my S3.

Do you have a photo of it on your wrist? Not seen the Sony one before. Galaxy Gear is too bulky I found, not that I had any interest in owning smart watches though!
 
It's the back cover that people are impressed with the most.

At work a number of people have asked if it was the cover that comes with the phone because it is totally not what they were expecting from the usual Galaxy phones and other Samsungs.
 
Indeed but if you have a smart TV then you can stream 1080P wirelessly directly without any adapters :)

TV at home does video streaming only as it isn't a Screen Mirroring supported TV unless you buy the WiFi Direct/WiDi adapter from LG. My cousin's TV is the latest Sony Bravia and has it all built in and mirrors the Note 3 screen and UI entirely.

In a way both have their pros/cons. The former means you can do other stuff on the phone while the video is streaming, the latter means you can play games or use apps on a big screen in full 1080P.
 
Just got my note, typing on it now. Coming from my old S3 it's a big difference but I love it! Anyone got any suggestions on apps/cases/etc?

One slight annoyance is that the Smartview app isn't compatible so I can't stream from my Samsung TV to my phone anymore. Used to be able to on the S3 but note on the note 3!
