*****The OFFICIAL OCUK 2010/2011 Fantasy Football League*****

debating whether to take a 4 point hit and swap Caroll & Scholes into my team for Adam & Rodallega, or is that a case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted... the quandaries fantasy footy gives you :D

I had a nightmare first week and only scored 40 odd, resurrected it this week with a decent 60ish (hopefully Tevez can add to that for me) but I'm miles off the pace already lol...

I couldn't believe it, I was on 54 points with , Evra, Rooney, Hernadez, Dunne and Albrighton (or whatever his name is) left to play....brilliant I thought, should get some decent points....and they managed to get me a combined total of 3 points!!!

Fortunately Rooney will be subbed out but that will only get me another 5 points I think.

Ho hum

yeah I got some more Spurs players in alongside Bale when I saw their fixtures. Hopefully they won't go into a downward spiral after Young Boys knock them out of the Champs League :D :D :D

Bah, terrible opening two weeks for me. My expensive players just haven't performed. Fabregas and Van persie are out, Rooney too if he doesn't start scoring

In 15th so not doing bad but made the mistake of having a good bench rather than loading up on quality in my first team. Want to some surgery to the team to improve things but I dont want it to cost me points so will have to stick with my replace 1 player a week policy which lets me do it points free. Made a few subs for the next game round (with Chelsea playing Stoke didnt want a stoke defender and keeper :p)
so starting team is:

Harper

Richards
Evra
Terry
Assou Ekotto

Bale
Larsson
Lampard
Henderson

Carroll
Drogba

Tempted to do the ole switcheroo and get Henderson out for Adam as I dont fancy Sunderland doing well against MC, though they are at home.... argh decisions decisions :D

Seems quite a few people used their wild cards this week, I was very close but decided to take a hit instead (20 points - ouch). Got 85 or so which is reasonable considering. It looks like Keane and Pav will be fit for tonight, question is who is going to step up for the easy fixtures? Keane will probably be going, Crouch might be too - surely not Pav (in the league)? At least I have Bale (a definite keeper for probably the rest of the season).

Bale was the first guy in my team in gameweek 1! Sometimes he can be unplayable, one of Spurs' best player in my opinion :D

Chamakh seems to be a keeper for me, its just what to do with Anelka, Arterta and Rooney that is causing me a headache :/

Yeah i bolted on a wigan player too.

Boss man called him the most natural finisher in the game, tim vicks sang his praises... that man being mauro bosseili.

Decent pre season for the fella, but no goal last night in 90 mins against an allready beaten hartlepool, thinking about tricking him out.

With Rooney not doing the do, im flat up front, add to that Nani's impending raith of fergie, ill be more goals short.

Early days:)
