people make me laugh. why are they choosing defensive midfielders.

choosing people with fancy names and play for big clubs.

the aim of the game is to choose players that with play regularly and either assist of score goals, especially in midfield.

for defense u want a top 4 clubs and they keep clean sheets

Not picked mine properly yet but gonna go with Torres, Van Persie and C. Cole up top I think :)

I disagree, they are mostly overpriced and don't always get the clean sheets you expect. Take Terry for example, fine he could grab maybe 4 out of 6 clean sheets in the first 6 games, but so could Michael Dawson, but also bonus points because he is more likely to than Terry. He is also a few £££ cheaper. If you want the big points spend less in GK and DF and more in MF and FW. Don't forget there needs to be some balance, just less top players in defence.

Tbh I wouldn't miss out on Fab/Lamps or Drog/RVP.

yeah i agree man. im going to not bother with fab/lamps/ger this season.

but tbh when i select defenders i look for fullbacks that are likely to get up field and provide assists. like A cole

Also I think you mis-read his post, he said he wouldn't miss out on Drogba, Fabregas, RvP. And you then replied with, you agree you're going to give them a miss?

mos def look at who ur players have got in games coming up. some teams have got a rough set of first matches against big 4

That is probably the best tip tbh. Just look at what teams are playing the big 4 and you can ensure a few points for a few players really. It probably helps to look into the past 4 or 5 real life meetings of the teams, goalscorers, assists, clean sheets and go from there.

Midfield - Milner,Lampard,Dorrans,Wilshere
Forwards - Rodallega,Tevez(C)
Subs - Carson,S Taylor,Petrov, Carroll

As long as I don't come last i'll be happy.
