Same deal with me; think Tevez will struggle to score against Bolton. Can't decide between Carroll, Chamakh or Nasri for Capt, although Chamakh has scored in the last two games and I fancy his chances again today
 
Damnit I just got screwed over by £200k, had my team worked out last night but decided to wait until this morning in case any more games got cancelled. During that time a player I was selling dropped in price and a player I was buying went up :(

Always the dilemma with FF, do you try and predict the market by making transfers ASAP after the end of the current weeks games, or wait and see what happens in terms of injury news etc. The bad weather just makes things even more complicated.
 
Ended up making 0 changes...and putting Drogba as captain...he has to score at SOME point! :(

Try using TotalFPL, that will give you an idea of who rises/falls. A player can either rise or fall at around 2:00am I think, and only when their on 100% or above and not protected. It can still be difficult deciding whether to transfer early to save money but risk games being called off.

Try to take advantage of players who's team plays twice in the gameweek, then you can boost your points a lot if their captain.
 
woah I was going to go with etherington as captain would have been okay
but I decided to put in Nasri and he's got me 24 points!

Now I wait for Welbeck n Carrol to perform!

Nasri got me some nice points as Captain!

Going to be around 60 points come the end of the gaming week I reckon, with all three of my subs likely to go in as Nani, Vidic and Dawson are unlikely to play. I thought Bale got an assist in the game today with his cross but seemingly not???

Not a bad week, considering, very much saved by Nani. Malouda is going out next week, I have had enough with Chelsea not performing!
 
Should be 61pts this week. Not amazing but after an awful November it's a great start to the month. Nasri captain at the last moment has paid off and not having and United players as well helped!
 
ive got nani as captain and vidic, so because the game is canceled does that mean im 2 players down? wtf

I thought when they play there game it would be added on to the original week?
 
They're swapped out for your first 2 subs and captain swaps to either the highest valued player or the one in form (not sure what that's based on) depending on which you chose.
 
so it works the same way as if they were injured, great

I havnt got subs toreplace so 9 men this week for me and ive lost top spot, ive been top for about 14 weeks and now the weather has done me.
 
So you're complaining because a) you didn't know the Blackpool game was postponed despite it being announced on Friday AND b) you don't have any of the 3 potential subs to replace them? This is exactly why you have a subs bench.

I had Vidic, Nani, Berbatov and Adam not playing, they're going to be replaced by Elmander, Dann and Coleman. Unfortunately they scored 2, 2 and 1. Still, will have got 64 this week thanks to Nasri as captain and a couple of other high scorers (Hart/Huth/Brunt).
 
i knew the game was postponed but i thought the points would be added to this week when they do play.

Its my first time playing this and this mistake has cost me 1st lol
