I know some people might think I'm crazy but I'm torn between getting Torres or Aguero. Chelsea have a pretty easy run of games, and Torres looked pretty sharp against Stoke, but then Aguero looks utter class.

Ok ive just seen that the admin can choose to start the league from game week 2.

I think this is totally fair. Even if i got the most points I would still say start it from GW2 as it wasnt a fair GW1 cos of the downtime.

I don't mind either way, I'm not happy or unhappy with how I started. Not sure it is unfair though, I know it was down a little bit but I am pretty sure if people tried 3 or 4 times then they would have got a time when it worked. I only saw the site offline once and changed my team around tons of times (Annoyingly, one of my first teams would have done very well, I had 3 bolton players). It seems unfair that the people who have got off to a great start will no longer have this.

Tried 3 or 4 times? Mate it was down since Friday night til at least Saturday afternoon, which is the time when probably 90% of people make changes in FF.
