In the first game there were only 2 goal scorers; Ivanovic and Lampard. They got 3 and 2 bonus points respectively, which leaves the last bonus point pretty open. Hazard on paper obviously had the most impact next with 2 assists.

In the second game there were 4 goal scorers, none of which were Hazard. Yes he may have got 3 assists but that's nothing without a finish. In that game Cahill, Ivanovic and Torres got the bonus points.

You'll notice that scoring defenders often get bonus points ahead of scoring forwards (if all else is equal) because it's seen as going beyond the call of duty/stepping up/etc.
 
I'm currently 2nd, yay :D

I've subbed all my Chelsea players for this week's game and still have a team of starters, so fingers crossed I don't miss out too badly. Already had to use a transfer to get rid of the injured Aguero; I've brought in Fulham's Petric as a replacement, leaving me about £5.5m spare to make a bigger transfer next week.

Struggling who to pick between the sticks, Slung Jaaskelainen in as he is pretty cheap and should be good back up, have Cech but was thinking of changing his as I could see Chelsea being a bit leaky. I think I might wildcard this week ( i know week 3...) as I've got 3 Chelsea players and 2 Reading, bringing in Rooney last week certainly has not helped my cause.

With Chelsea not playing this week, my team pretty much picks its self. The only choice I need to make is either Gibbs vs Liverpool or Distin vs West Brom.....close call.

Also considering Dembele. 6m.....and if he does go to Spurs it could be a bit of a bargain.

^regarding keepers one strategy is to look at fixtures and pick a keeper who can rotate with Juusi. So you look at WHU fixtures and work out what weeks they have tough games and then make sure your second keeper can cover those with easy fixtures, or vice-versa.

Bit worried about the gameweek coming up, I've got Defoe and VdV in my team and only one of my subs is playing this week. Real risk one of them of them being sold and I think with the arrival of Dembele, VdV may not start at the weekend even if he remains at the club, likewise Adebayor may start over Defoe. VdV is probably my biggest regret in terms of initial squad selection, I nearly went with Bale instead but thought VdV would occupy a role just behind the striker and be taking pens etc.

I echo the call from managers to prevent English clubs buying players after the start of the English season.

My transfers for this week are Terry to Baines and Lampard to Pienaar for a 4 point hit. Everton are in form and Chelsea don't play so the transfers make sense to me.

Hope Bale and Vertonghen finally do something this weekend against Norwich and I will even have Bale (c). Everyone seems to be picking Tevez as (c) so wanted to try something different!;)
 
Same, I have Baines in already, Hazard and Torres on the bench and subbed Ramires out for Duff. 5-3-2 this week so probably not many points, tempted to take a 4pt hit and sub Riise out.
 
Riise should play I think. Seems like since they changed the injury ratings this year they've been more slapdash with rating players as maybes. Physio Room says he'll probably play which is what I usually rely on.
 
Worth sticking Carroll in now he is on a season loan to West Ham?

He's TERRIBLE! And isn't Clyne about the same price?!?! (and better than Fox by a factor of at least 8)
