*** The Official OcUK Beers Of The World Competition ***

oh and also does the beer type count ==> ie IPA or ALE
"SQUIDS DARK TASTY BLACK ALE"

And SQUIDS was the brewery would i only get points for "DARK TASTY BLACK"?

In the last competition it was beer name only, the type was not included. I see no reason why we can't include the beer type along with the name this time. No brewery name though.

O is another tough one. I fear my only option will be what a load of others get stuck with. Not much oak aged stuff down in the South. There is one, but I am not driving to the brewery to get it and pay the ridiculous price they are charging per bottle.

I agree, whatever's on the label as a name excluding the brewery would make sense and have less potential pitfalls?

Yeah, I agree.

Just to be clear, is the beer type (eg. bitter, ale, IPA etc) now included?
Just excluding the brewery name?

:)

It has to form part of the name on the label, not just be a separate bit of text on the label? Probably easier to keep it the same as the last time to be honest!
