oh and also does the beer type count ==> ie IPA or ALE
"SQUIDS DARK TASTY BLACK ALE"

And SQUIDS was the brewery would i only get points for "DARK TASTY BLACK"?

In the last competition it was beer name only, the type was not included. I see no reason why we can't include the beer type along with the name this time. No brewery name though.

O is another tough one. I fear my only option will be what a load of others get stuck with. Not much oak aged stuff down in the South. There is one, but I am not driving to the brewery to get it and pay the ridiculous price they are charging per bottle.

I agree, whatever's on the label as a name excluding the brewery would make sense and have less potential pitfalls?

Just to be clear, is the beer type (eg. bitter, ale, IPA etc) now included?
Just excluding the brewery name?

It has to form part of the name on the label, not just be a separate bit of text on the label? Probably easier to keep it the same as the last time to be honest!
