*** The Official OCUK Cinebench R20 benchmark Thread ***

Just about got my system dialed in now. (well, the RAM at least). How is this for a 3700x? I havent touched PBO or AO yet. Geting 4950/4960

The scores fluctuate a lot when you have everything in Auto, I go from 4950 to 5050. It all depends how the CPU decides to boost.

Score update - Tried some Per CCX overclocking on my 3900x. Chose a voltage I was happy with (1.31875v) and found each CCX's failure point in R20 then dropped 50Mhz as a chosen clock. Even with LLC at Turbo my loaded Vcore droops to 1.275v. I could probably dial in some more voltage to get closer to 1.325v under load and higher All Core frequencies but leaving that for now :D

Ended up with:

CCD0
CCX 0 - 4375
CCX 1 - 4350

CCD1
CCX 0 - 4300
CCX 1 - 4300

36 and 37 should not be there :)

Im trying to decide if I should chase that 6950X but I think Im going to leave it as it is for now :/

The 8086K 540 @ 5.2Ghz? that's a limited edition 8700K, Intel's 40 year anniversary.

A 6950X in a 10 core 20 thread Broadwell-E, no one posted one of those, originally a £1600 CPU, before AMD launched the 1800X and made it irrelevant.

You would need to run your 3900X at 4.8Ghz to beat it, that looks like a big ask from Zen 2, shame. the IPC of Zen 2 is 10% higher than Coffeelake but 7nm just doesn't clock high enough, YET ;)
