Oh wow, the difference between this poll and the polls of previous threads. Looks like some folks bottled it?
Brian Cox on Facebook said:Serious point: We obviously live in divided country. No. 1 job in parliament tomorrow will be to recognise this and work together to fix it
Time for another theoretical question please.
All you remainers, if a remain/leave referendum was held on the basis that if we stay we have to switch to the euro, would that change your vote?
You and I are both due to get up at the same time then...... How long can we manage?
Executions of people who dislike Marmite would do a decent job of uniting the country I think.
Saw the odds midday today suggesting 80% probability for remain.
Went to polling booth and saw long queue, so didn't bother to vote (not like a single vote would matter anyway), although it would have been remain.
I doubt it will be declared until 7-8 in the morning. However we should get a few through by 1am.
Just watching the BBC coverage.
Isn't it strange that politicians have to wait until after the polls close to have a sensible debate.
One thing that this referendum has shown me, is how right Winston Churchill was when he said "the best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter"
