***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Ship in a bottle won the new lego ideas approval to go into production!
It was the only one I was interested in!

Hulk buster would be good, so is the Tram but yes, ship in a bottle is so cooooool. Is there a link to the design? how does the glass aspect work?

Those with the Saturn 5, instructions page 167. Landing module, pushing the forks into the gold pieces. It shows them pushed all the way in but it's not possible with mine. Piece number 4538126, wondering if mine have a flaw.

Can you get a pic?

Ninjago City next week! I've decided my Lego City, mostly made of modulars, needs a Chinatown style sector. I've decided that the new Ninjago City and Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon would fit in together nicely. I'll try and pickup the older Temple of Airjitzu as well and see what I can do to fit them together. Fun times ahead!

PS. I'm beginning to feel like I spend too much on Lego these days.

Dang!
Just been into a Lego store in Germany and he said ucs falcon for VIP order is September 19th and a €799 price tag!
Going to be 699! I'm not sure if it's worth getting for that much.

It would need to have 6000 - 7000 pieces to be of proportional value vs other recent Disney ucs sets!

I wonder how many will be produced as this will put it beyond a lot of peoples reach.

(by not sure if it's worth getting, I probably will get it)

(by probably I mean definitely)

But yeah what a price!

Yeah it's a huge price tag, it does have a lot of extra pieces compared to the original apparently but the guy I chatted too had only seen a box front no complete model.

And also it might not be worth it but who needs 3 months rent or a whole new good standard computer when they could have one over priced Lego model to collect dust...

I won't buy it if the piece count doesn't inflate comparably

Same I would expect a ~5K piece model to be £450-£550 depending on how many large/unique/mini figures. For it to be £699 it is going to HAVE to be MASSIVE.

Though a problem we have now is the Euro is at like 1.10 and projected to get even lower due to strong Euro, that's going to be an issue....

By the time we get to September it will probably be so near parity that euro price will be equivalent.

If it is 799 I don't get it.

Like the one at Legoland?:D

Yup, lots of images of enhanced boxes and packing and definitely confirmed by a Lego guy today. The ucs falcon will be the huge flagship anniversary model and the hideous bb8 is their everyone to buy anniversary model/those who can't justify he huge cost.
