***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Just watched the designer video.

All parts are printed!

NO STICKERS! Even the licence plates are printed. Apparently to make it easier to switch between the turbo and Targa models.

The cars dont really interest me, unsurprisingly. I haven't been excited by a Lego set since the Roller Coaster. Built that and seen nothing to pique my interest since.

Its not bad, but does nothing for me. I have bitten on the Land Rover at £126 at Zavvi though (yes I know it has been slightly cheaper before) as that looks like a very interesting build.

Heads up for you geeks

Quidco are doing 8 percent cashback + 10 pounds for lego.com on values over 100

4 percent on exclusive sets

Going to pick up the bat wing I think

Has anyone ordered any replacement parts from lego recently. I ordered a part for my Falcon maybe a fortnight ago but not seen anything yet, I realise there was a backlog at customs (not sure if that's still kngoing).

Has anyone ordered anything from Lego.com over £135 since the 1st Jan?

I know they operate a single European company and ship to the U.K. from Europe. We’re there any additional import fees or did lego sort that?

Yes, I have, and no there weren’t any extra charges.
Also got another order coming soon.
I am curious about where Lego stand with this though. The parcels come from Belgium (?), but the boxes are actually marked as Lego UK, and Lego do have a UK registered office.
all the confirmations I get have that address on so effectively dealing with a UK based company, not one in Europe.
I would imagine they have some set up for ‘their’ stock to come in and they manage the charges themselves.

Rear yellow number plate looks like it's saying Pish Take
It's the designers name. The Beetle and Mustang have the same plates but with a 1 at the end for the Beetle and 2 for the Mustang. P51 AK1 and P51 AK2 it's quite a cool little easter egg putting his name on the designs.
