***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

First post on OCUK in about 10 years ... so might as well make it in the Lego thread :)
keep in mind that I'm part way through re-organising the setup/collection

(I promise my 2nd post will be about my first PC build in 10 years...)

WOW that a great lego cllection

I can see the reason why you had no time to post on here for 10 years :D

It's a good build. Was my first technic build last year. Some bits were a bit fiddly.

Might buy the Land Rover next week.
Not sure when am going be building the charger as i have a few unbuilt lego sets to make first.

I also have the Land Rover but i haven't started building this one yet :o...

I still have the Yellow Submarine, Steamboat Willie, Lukes X-Wing and 4 Privit Drive to build. Not big builds by any means.

The monster rises as bags 1-3 are done and around 30% complete:

Motorised elements all working and a very enjoyable build!

Thanks ... and would you believe that the Lego collection is only <1.5 years old!
Extrapolating means you'll need a mansion in a decade:cry: one question though, do you use that rad? Those models look pretty close and I'd be worried about damage from the heat (I know the melting point of abs is way above rad temp, but don't know if anything melts sooner or starts softening).

Haha ... it's the same debate I have with the GF. She likes to have Lego displayed there, but I'm less keen because of the rad. Having said that - it's been OK so far, the air gap between the rad and the shelf, and the shelf itself seems to mean that the Lego on the shelf doesn't get that much heat.

If I can have something approaching this guy's setup/collection in a decade ... I'd be happy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH7Vus8xJaU

Yeah Bricksie(Jordan) has one he'll of a collection. I've followed him for a while and it's grown a lot since he moved to that house. I'm proper envious that he goes Lego shopping every few days and spends a fortune. I'm lucky to get 3-4 kits a year.

I see you left a small gap for the Red Five helmet. :D
