UCS Razor Quest officially announced @£519

Not too bad on pricing. Looks epic but at 72cm long it's going to need big shelf space.

I still don’t get it. Why make a UCS version of this forgettable ship.

I mean Disney already forgot about it in season 2!

I’ll buy it before it retires, may even get a deal on it at some point.

Anyone here build the UCS star destroyer? Its not an easy decision like the falcon and ATAT :)

Might not have been in the show for long, but it's certainly not a forgettable ship.
I think we will have to agree to disagree on that one.

To me, it’s just a boring small box freighter with nothing really remarkable about it. It’s just a ‘we need something to take Mando from A to B, this will do’ sort of thing.

It lacks everything that most of the other interesting ships in the Star Wars universe have. For example, the sleek lines of the Nabo, the interesting shapes of the Rebel ships, the aggression of anything from the empire etc etc.

If I had £500 to spend on a Lego set, I’d definitely get the Titanic over that despite being a a Star Wars fan.

That said I’d probably wait a bit longer and get the AT-AT :p

So many nicer looking display pieces.

Some of the recent ideas sets not approved have been fabulous

Another that's just too grey.
Just no where to put sets like that.

Very grey, no interior, some of the multicolour inside shows through the gaps. It puts me off short of it being reduced in a sale which is now unlikely. The falcon was an insta buy and I’m loving the build, as will the ATAT and battle packs when I’ve build some more of my backlog. On the fence with the star destroyer and just watching to see what happens with stock on Lego and John Lewis.

Going to buy a new table in a few weeks that the falcon will eventually sit on next to my PC :) - still only on bag set 5 though.

Visited WH Smiths earlier and noticed the following book is on sale, £8.00 (RRP £30?)

I don't collect Lego but it looked a good buy for the price! :)
