I think last I check German Amazon or Zavvi through Quidco cash back will get you there.

The reason for questioning whether the Lego RRP is inflated is that Costco also sell the Bugatti at £279 but the Lego RRP is £319 or say the McLaren at £139 vs £169. The discounts there seem a bit more 'normal'

Lego.com just don’t do deals, except for sets that just aren’t selling and that is very rare.
Lego just jacked up all their prices across the board (some 20%+) so lot of the ‘deals’ are just the old price or a small discount on the old price.

UCS Razor Quest reviews up. It's nicely scaled with great detail. It doesn't feel like bad value but it is expensive.
The play scale one at £119 with a few £ of mods to improve aesthetics and function feels the better choice now.

Looking at the size comparison between the play set version and ucs, baring in mind the play set takes an Ikea Detolf shelf up, this needs some serious display space like the UCS AT-AT or Millenium Falcon.

I need to buy the UCS Star Destroyer before it’s retired.
Building the ferrari I can tell I'm not keen. I can only build for 30-45 mins before I get bored. I think it's because 80 percent of it is.. Just another Technic car.
On flip side when I build the pyramid I built it in record quick time. Particularly enjoyed building the outer pyramid. As the pieces got closer and closer to the gold top.

I seen that the Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests is about to retire soon (on the Swedish Lego site at least) and was wondering if anyone have bought it ?? I am rather tempted about the Ultimate Art Piece of it, but it requires 4 sets of it. So, was wondering if anyone has bought 4 set and made the large Crest ??

That UCS stuff looks great but I’m just not a big enough Star Wars fan to justify the cost.

That would be cool. Seams to be the only way to get a "proper" set is to not buy lego, although I'd have thought lots of people would have moc builds (I prefer instructions though).

Just waiting to see if anything is bundled with the razor crest on Monday and if nothing special, which is likely, then I’ll order the ISD and will just shelve it until the falcon is finished.

I wonder if the isd would stay in stock until black Friday, I got my falcon for 500 a few years ago on a black Friday deal.
